Canada: new formula for Les Affaires, the Quebecois business newspaper

The new formula for Les Affaires, the weekly business newspaper of Quebec was launched tonight. New design, but more over, new content. For Stéphane Lavallée, the new publisher, and his team, the goal is to increase analysis and prospective content.

"Our readers need to know what is going to happen tomorrow. They need sound, timely input to make decisions for the future of their businesses. It is what we are going to offer them with the new Les Affaires," explains Stéphane.

5w Mignon-Media has been very excited to help Stéphane's team in changing the editorial strategy and the design of this 80-year-old business newspaper. The newsroom organization has also been revisited to ensure more efficient work flow and better reporting. For example, a new key position has been created: Director of Visual Journalism.

The first phase of a new version of the website will be launched in September. 5w has been in charge of the redesign.

Les Affaires is a publication of Transcontinental Media.
